Woman found after abduction captured in shocking CCTV video

A woman who was allegedly abducted from a Philadelphia street has been found safe in Jessup, Maryland.

Twenty-two-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was last seen on a shocking surveillance video being grabbed and pulled toward a car on Sunday night.

She has been taken to hospital and reunited with her family.

Witnesses said the woman could be heard screaming as the man bungled her into his vehicle.

In an interview with CBS News, Philadelphia police spokesman Lieutenant John Stanford said: "It looks like she's fighting for her life."

Police said at the time that they think Miss Feeland-Gaither did not know her attacker.

The breakthrough in the case came after the victim's bank card was used on Monday at a bank in Aberdeen, Maryland, which is around 75 miles from the abduction site.

A man has been arrested.
