Ransom for freed British hostage paid through 'unofficial channels'

There are unconfirmed reports a ransom was paid through "unofficial channels" in exchange for the release of a British teacher held hostage in Libya.

David Bolam, who worked at the International School in Benghazi, was kidnapped in May by Islamic militants.
