France's first airstrike in Iraq targets IS compound

France says it has carried out its first airstrike in Iraq and has destroyed a logistics depot held by the Islamic State group.

The office of president Francois Hollande's says Rafale fighter jets struck the depot in north eastern Iraq and the target was "entirely destroyed".
