Clean thieves steal £5,000 worth of shampoo and toiletries

Thieves broke in to a pound shop in Birmingham, England, stealing almost £5,000 worth of anti-dandruff shampoo, toiletries and floor cleaner.

West Midlands Police said the Pound Plus store in Dudley Road in Winson Green was broken into in the early hours of July 17.

According to officers, thieves stole Head & Shoulders and Palmolive shampoo, Colgate toothpaste, car air fresheners, cigarette lighters and Zoflora cleaning fluid.

The force has now released CCTV images of two people it would like to speak to in connection with the break-in.
