Gaza ceasefire extended for another 24 hours

A Palestinian official says both sides have agreed to extend a truce in Gaza for 24 hours, in order to complete negotiations.

Egypt is trying to get the Palestinians and Israelis to find a more permanent solution to the conflict.

A current five-day ceasefire has just expired.
