Obama urges enduring Gaza ceasefire

There will not be an enduring stability between Israel and Palestinians in the near future, President Barack Obama has warned, unless leaders on both sides take political risks.

But first, Mr Obama said, a temporary ceasefire in place in the Gaza Strip must hold without being violated before it expires tomorrow.
