Ebola patient lands on US soil

The second American aid worker recently diagnosed with Ebola in west Africa was en route to Atlanta today after a customs and refuelling stop in Maine.

The patient was to arrive in the Atlanta area in a chartered plane equipped to contain infectious diseases and then be taken to a specialised isolation unit at Emory University Hospital.
