Operation to refloat Costa Concordia wreckage under way

Salvage teams are attempting to refloat the wreckage of the Costa Concordia.

The vessel hit a reef and capsized off the Italian island of Giglio in 2012, killing 32 people.

The operation to move the stricken cruise liner from an underwater platform could take up to a week before it is towed and dismantled.
