Airforce jet crashes into homes in California

A military jet has crashed into a residential area in Imperial Valley in California.

Officials say one home is on fire while two other properties were impacted by the crash.

It is unclear how many people have been injured or whether there are any fatalities.

A Marine spokesman says the jet was a Harrier from Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona.
