Three dead, 16 injured after drunk knifes Taiwan subway commuters

An apparently drunken man wielding a knife attacked riders aboard a subway train in Taiwan’s capital, killing three people and injuring 16, reports said.

The seemingly random attack occurred at about 4pm local time at the start of rush hour aboard a train on Taipei’s Banqiao line, which leads to the city’s south-western suburbs.
