Drunk passenger who sparked hijack alert 'thought cockpit was toilet'

It has emerged that a drunk passenger who sparked a hijack alert and forced a plane to land early in Bali mistook the cockpit for the toilet.

The pilot declared a hijacking on the Virgin flight from Brisbane yesterday after the passenger tried to enter the cockpit. There were 139 passengers on board.
