Pilot fills up at petrol station

Police in China are trying to hunt down a pilot who landed on a road and drove into a nearby petrol station to refuel.

The plane, which appeared to be home-made and had two passengers on board, taxied into the petrol station alongside other cars waiting to fill up in Sichuan province.

With the help of petrol station staff, the pilot managed to pull a petrol pump nozzle far enough to fill up, after climbing onto a wing to reach the fuel cap.

After ten minutes refueling he paid the petrol price and drove off.
