Man stabs six dead in China property dispute
A man involved in a property dispute has stabbed six people to death in China and injured more, police said.
The attacks happened in a village in the Huairou district of Beijing, according to a blog on the police’s publicity office website.
The Chinese capital covers a large area and some rural areas, such as Huairou, come under its remit.
The statement said police captured a 34-year-old suspect who had the surname Zhou, and his family members reported he had a history of mental illness.
Police said the injured were taken to hospital but did not say how many were hurt.
