Report: Russian troops trying to take Ukraine naval base

There are reports this morning that Russian troops are trying to seize a Ukrainian naval base in Crimea.

The facility in Feodosia is one of the few still flying a Ukrainian flag after Russia's annexation.

It comes amid ongoing fears that Russia could be about to seize another territory in eastern Europe.

Nato's top commander Philip Breedlove has warned that Moscow's troops are poised to move into a pro-Russian region of Moldova.

The Russian speaking area known as Transdniester has already declared independence from the rest of Moldova.
