Air and sea search resumes for missing jet

Planes and ships were scrambled today to find a pallet and other debris in a remote patch of the southern Indian Ocean as the search resumed for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet.

The pallet was spotted by a search plane yeswterday, but has not been closely examined.
