Research finds too many badgers suffered in UK's pilot culls

An independent study of pilot badger culls in England is said to have concluded that they were ineffective and too many animals suffered.

Research commissioned by the British Government found that the number of badgers killed in Somerset and Gloucestershire fell short of targets set to limit the spread of TB in cattle.
