Man accused of diamond theft after X-ray

A British tourist has been charged with the theft of a rare pink diamond worth 250,000 Australian dollars.

The Cairns Post said Matthew Osborne appeared at Cairns Magistrates’ Court accused of snatching the Argyle stone from a shop in the northern Australian city last Saturday.
