Irish nanny denied bail by US court

A Massachusetts judge has rejected a plea for bail for an Irish nanny charged with murder in the death of a one-year-old girl in her care.

Middlesex Superior Court Judge S. Jane Haggerty warned that she would “seriously reconsider” that decision if prosecutors fail to quickly turn over evidence to lawyers for Aisling Brady McCarthy.
