Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius has said he is “consumed with sorrow” over the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who he shot dead at his home a year ago today.

The six-time sprint champion faces trial next month for the murder of the 29-year-old model and reality TV star.
