Danish tourist gang-raped in India after asking for directions

A Danish tourist has been gang-raped near a popular central shopping area in the Indian capital after she lost her way and asked for directions back to her hotel.

The 51-year-old was robbed and beaten in the attack yesterday afternoon near Connaught Place, New Delhi, a police spokesman said.
