A British man has died while trying to rescue his two sons who were caught in a rip tide in Australia.

A British man has died while trying to rescue his two sons who were caught in a rip tide in Australia.

The 44-year-old was with his family at Burrill Beach in New South Wales, about 130 miles south of Sydney, when he tried to help the boys yesterday afternoon. He is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
