Israel strikes on Gaza strip

Israeli Air Force jets have carried out an airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

It follows a mortar attack on Israeli soldiers this morning in which there were no injuries.

Israeli Defence Forces say they targeted militants as they prepared to fire more rockets.
