Bad weather delays Morsi trial

The trial of Egypt’s former president on charges of inciting murder has been adjourned until next month, after bad weather prevented a helicopter from taking him to court.

The helicopter, which was to fly Morsi from a prison near the Mediterranean city of Alexandria to eastern Cairo, could not take off because of fog. Judge Ahmed Sabry Youssef adjourned the proceedings until February 1.
