£50k of rare Brew Dog beer stolen from British warehouse

16,000 bottles of rare beer have been stolen from a warehouse in Essex.

The alcohol, made by Aberdeenshire brewer BrewDog, is estimated to be worth around £50,000. The bottles were of "protoype" brews: Moshi Moshi 15, Interstellar, Hobo Pop and Birxton Porter - brews which are not widely available.

The haul was driven away in a lorry between midnight and 2am on Monday.

Local police are trying to make contact with anyone who has been offered any of the beers for sale.
