Kidnapped priest held since November released

A French priest kidnapped in Cameroon in mid-November has been set free, authorities have said.

French president Francois Hollande thanked officials in Cameroon and Nigeria for their “relentless” efforts in helping to free the rev Georges Vandenbeusch.
