Girl, 9, found murdered in rubbish bin

An Ohio man has been accused by a grand jury of raping and strangling a nine-year-old girl whose body was found in a rubbish bin at the mobile home park where they were neighbours.

Jerrod Metsker, 24, is charged with the aggravated murder, kidnapping and rape of Reann Murphy at the park in Smithville, south west of Akron.
