Ballet dancer denies plotting acid attack on artistic director

The Bolshoi ballet dancer accused of ordering an acid attack on the company’s artistic director has pleaded not guilty in a court appearance.

Pavel Dmitrichenko is suspected of ordering the January attack on Sergei Filin, which left the director with severe burns to his face and his eye.
