Biological mother of girl found in Greek Roma camp denies selling her
The Bulgarian mother of the young girl removed from a Roma Camp in Greece has denied selling her daughter.
In an interview with TV7, Sasha Ruseva said that she made a mistake by giving up her child, but said she did not accept any money.
The 35-year-old has also said that she wants her daughter back.
The four-year-old girl, now known as Maria, has blonde hair and green eyes, and was wrongly thought to have been abducted by a Roma couple.
Greek police are now investigating allegations that her biological parents sold Maria.
If found guilty, they could face up to six years in prison.
