Memorial to be held for April Jones

Pink balloons and lanterns will be released this evening in memory of murdered schoolgirl April Jones.

People across the UK are expected to take part in the symbolic gesture of remembrance for the five-year-old from Machynlleth in mid Wales.

April was taken from outside her home on October 1 last year - her funeral was held last Thursday.

47-year-old Mark Bridger was sentenced to life in prison in May this year.
