Firefighters are dealing with a blaze at a manufacturing site north-west of Oklahoma City after a series of explosions.

Oklahoma City television station News 9 said police confirmed explosions hit a Danlin facility near the town of Thomas in the early hours of today.

An evacuation order has been issued for the area immediately around the plant.

Officials said they did not yet know the cause of the fire or explosions.

No injuries were immediately reported.
