Gunman fires shots in US Navy yard in Washington

A gunman has shot and wounded at least one person at a US Navy Yard in Washington DC.

A number of people have reportedly been killed and others injured after a gunman opened fire at a Naval yard in Washington.

Initial reports suggested that a lone gunman fired at least three shots inside the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters, which is the headquarters for a number of US naval commands.
