Putin: US exceptionalism is 'ungodly'

Russian president Vladimir Putin says he is no fan of the idea of American exceptionalism – and neither is God.

“It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation,” Mr Putin said in an opinion piece posted on the website of The New York Times.
