At least 26 people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a wave of bombings in Shiite Muslim areas in and around Baghdad, Iraqi officials said.

At least 26 people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a wave of bombings in Shiite Muslim areas in and around Baghdad, Iraqi officials said.

Four police officers said the attacks involving explosives-laden cars, bombs and suicide bombers targeted car parks, outdoor markets and restaurants in six of the capital’s predominantly Shiite neighborhoods.
