Speeding train kills at least 20 pilgrims
A speeding train has run over a group of pilgrims, killing at least 20 people in eastern India, a lawmaker says.
Parliament member Dinesh Chandra Yadav said the pilgrims were crossing the rail tracks near Dhamara, a small town in Bihar state.
Forty other people have been injured in the accident that happened early today.
Mr Yadav said angry mobs pulled out the train driver and beat him to death. They then got all the passengers out of the train and set some coaches on fire.
