Flights unaffected after coach fire in Gatwick

Passengers have had to be evacuated from the North Terminal at Gatwick airport after a coach caught fire, outside the building.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the National Express bus, at around 12.30pm this lunchtime.

No one was injured.

The fire has been extinguished and airport staff said the incident did not affect check-in areas or flights.
