Nine die in airstrikes near Lebanon border
At least nine people were killed and nine others injured when a Syrian warplane struck targets near the border with Lebanon, Lebanon’s state-run news agency said today.
A Lebanese security official in the country’s eastern Bekaa region confirmed the air strike and said it targeted the rebel-held Syrian town of Yabroud, just across the border from the Lebanese town of Arsal.
