Vandals splash green paint on Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC has been temporarily closed to visitors after vandals splashed green paint on the statue.
Police say no words, letters or symbols were visible and are reviewing security camera footage to identify possible suspects.
The memorial, one of the most popular sites in the city, was dedicated in 1922 to the nation's 16th president.
