Anti-terrorism review shows 'lone actor' assaults in UK difficult to detect

Terrorism plots in the UK are becoming simpler and smaller - unlike the 7/7 attacks designed to cause mass casualties.

The man in charge of reviewing anti-terrorism laws warns that "lone actor" assaults could be more difficult for the security services to detect and disrupt.

The threat of small-scale attacks was seen when Fusilier Lee Rigby was stabbed to death in south east London in May.
