The airline involved in a fatal crash in San Francisco earlier this month has abandoned its plans to sue a local TV station over the use of racially offensive names.

Asiana Airlines said in a statement that KTVU-TV has already apologised for using fake names for four pilots on a plane that crashed on July 6, killing three people and injuring dozens.
