Six protesters attempt climb of tallest building in western Europe

Six protesters are trying to climb The Shard in central London - the tallest building in western Europe.

Greenpeace said that the women are part of a campaign against oil and gas drilling in the arctic.

Police were called to the 72 storey building this morning and are trying to work out how to get them down.

It is understood they got onto the structure by climbing on to the roof of London Bridge Station.
