Man, 75, arrested in connection with discovery of bomb near mosque wall

In the UK, a 75-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of an explosive device near a mosque in Walsall.

The home-made bomb exploded outside the building last Friday night

The pensioner is being held on suspicion of causing an explosion likely to endanger life or damage property.

He was arrested at his home in Walsall and the address is now being searched as part of the investigation.
