Woman accused of stiletto stabbing claims self-defence

A Houston woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with a stiletto high heel told police she was trying to protect herself.

Houston police say 44-year-old Ana Lilia Trujillo told investigators the man was attacking her and she acted in self-defence, in the incident on Sunday.

Trujillo was charged with murder, and the University of Houston identified the 59-year-old man killed at a luxury high-rise flat as Alf Stefan Andersson, a research professor in the university’s biology and biochemistry department.
