A suspicious letter mailed to the White House was similar to two threatening, poison-laced letters complaining about gun control sent to New York City’s mayor.

The Secret Service said yesterday that the letter was addressed to President Barack Obama and was intercepted on May 22 by a White House mail screening facility.
