Likely tiger escaped from pen before killing zoo worker, police say

Cumbria Police says it is likely a tiger which fatally injured a zoo worker escaped from its pen.

Sarah McClay was attacked at South Lakes Wild Animal Park on Friday.

The park's owner alleged the 24-year-old had broken safety rules by entering the animal's pen.

Police think she may have been dragged into it.
