Riot police arrest more than 200 at Paris gay marriage protest

Nearly 300 people have been arrested during demonstrations in Paris over a new law allowing gay marriage.

Around 150,000 people joined yesterday's mostly peaceful rally, but trouble broke out late last night, and riot police were called in.
