NRA leader warns members of 'culture war'

The incoming leader of the National Rifle Association told its grass-roots organisers yesterday they are the front line of a “culture war” that goes beyond gun rights.

The 64-year-old lawyer’s comments come after he branded Barack Obama a “fake president” and are likely to enflame an already explosive national debate over gun control.
