Corrie star Roache charged with two counts of rape

Coronation Street actor Bill Roache has been charged with two counts of rape.

The charges involve alleged incidents with a 15 -year-old girl in 1967.

The 81-year-old has played Ken Barlow since the soap began - and was arrested by Lancashire police at his house in Cheshire this morning.
