A man was arrested yesterday, accused of sending letters that tested positive for deadly ricin to US President Barack Obama and a Senator.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel McMullen said Paul Curtis, 45, was detained at his flat near the Tennessee state line, east of Memphis.
