A Taiwanese television news station has apologised for airing footage of Queen Elizabeth II while reporting the death of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.

CTi Cable flashed a headline saying ā€œMargaret Thatcher Dies of Strokeā€ and showed two clips of the Queen shaking hands with the public.
