US Govt posts $5m reward for Kony's capture

The US Government has posted a $5m reward for the capture of the Ugandan rebel leader Joseph Kony.

The Lord's Resistance Army leader was brought to the world's attention by the viral 'Stop Kony' campaign last year.

His rebel group is notorious for mutilating victims and abducting children for use as sex slaves and soldiers.

It is believed Kony is in hiding in the jungles of Central Africa.
